Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)

Rosemary is a dense and profusely branched evergreen shrub characterised by a strong fragrance.The leaves are intense green, glossy on the top and white hairy underneath. The small flowers are pale blue to light purple. In the wild, it is found in the Mediterranean area and likes dry, rocky places, coasts and scrubland. It is also cultivated as a garden and pot plant . It flowers throughout the year.
Among other things, rosemary has properties that regulate digestion, are cholagogic, diuretic, antiseptic, circulatory, sedative and increase blood pressure.
